Structured and Unstructured

My art emerges from an affinity for metal craft and metal sculpture in particular. In 2023, I reignited this passion, channeling it into a playground for creative self-expression and exploration. Using traditional metalworking techniques—cutting, bending, and joining—I transform metal into abstract forms that challenge the divide between structure and chaos, inviting viewers to explore the sublime depths of the subconscious.

Influenced by the evocative and dreamlike paintings of Salvador Dalí, the revolutionary and spatially-complex sculptures of Alexander Calder, and the monumental, meditative works of sculptor Richard Serra, I infuse my art with conceptual maps that connect ideas, emotions, and moments. As a systems thinker, I’m driven by a curiosity to uncover the hidden patterns that bind everything together—creating sculptures that are not just forms, but statements that speak to the harmony and tension of the human experience.
